FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is Camp Maple Open?

Weekly from July 1st 6th - August 30th.

Is my child the right age to participate in the program?

  • Kids entering Kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible to attend Camp Maple.

  • If your child is 5 or 6 years old, please be aware that these age groups tend to fill up very quickly. We strongly recommend registering early. 

How can I register my child?

What should my child bring to camp?

  • Every Camper should bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, a bathing suit, hat, towel and a change of clothes (including extra shoes) each day. 

  • All items must be labeled with your child's name and fit into a bag (also labeled).

  • Be mindful of the weather forecast, and send sweatshirts, rain coats, etc. as needed. We typically play outside in all weather (including rain), unless there is thunder and lightning.

What will my child do all day?

  • Campers will be outside playing games, exploring each weekly theme, making projects and having good old-fashioned fun.  

  • We are "Outside and Unplugged", meaning we do not watch TV or movies or allow any type of electronics. Screen free is the way to be!

  • Please leave all toys, cell phones and devices at home. We have plenty here to play with. 

Is lunch provided?

  • Each day lunch can either be ordered or your child can bring their own bagged lunch. Weekly meal plans are available through registration for $35 or must be purchased on the same day at drop off for $8.  

  • Ordered lunch menu includes a main item (such as sandwich/hotdog/burger) a side of fries, choice of fruit and vegetable and a juice or water.

  • Tuesday afternoons we are visited by Kona-Ice, a shaved ice company that offers frozen treats. Mr. Ding-a-Ling, the ice cream truck stops in on Friday afternoons. Purchases can be made using money from camper snack accounts.

Can I view/download Camp Policies and Necessary Camper Forms?  

  • Yes! You can find all of our policies and download copies of the required paperwork directly from our page. 

  • Registration is completely digital this year, we will not accept paper copies.
