Support Staff Positions
Kitchen Staff
Our kitchen staff is responsible for preparing and serving all food at Maple Ski Ridge. Duties include food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of our kitchen. Applicant must have reliable transportation, be self motivated and work with little direction. Hours include Wednesday - Sunday. Must be at least 18yrs old, food service experience preferred.
Customer Service Staff
Our customer service representatives work with our customers, selling tickets, lessons, rentals and merchandise. They must be professional, courteous and pleasant to customers while doing so. Applicant must have reliable transportation, be self motivated and work with little direction. Hours include Wednesday - Sunday.
Rental Shop Technician
Our rental shop technicians will be responsible for renting equipment to customers in a fast, safe, efficient and friendly manner by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities

Rents equipment to customers including reviewing customer rental forms to ensure completion and proper signatures.

Takes payment from customers and makes accurate change. Be responsible for cash box and credit card machine. Performs cash outs at the end of day.

Assists customers with the fitting of boots and with equipment problems.

Sets bindings for customers.

Explains how equipment works and how to distinguish your equipment from others.

Tuning of customers skis and snowboards.

Performs weekly maintenance of a minimum of 10% of the fleet including inspections and testing.

Maintains clean work environment by sweeping work area and customer area daily, washing exterior doors and emptying trash and recycling bins as needed. Maintains safe work environment by removing snow around doorways and deck area.

Management Positions
Mountain Operations Assistant Manager
The Mountain Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all lift operations and maintaining snow quality on the grounds. The Mountain Operations Assistant Manager must be willing to help establish emergency/safety plans, and training materials relating to mountain operations for all.
Daily duties vary according to weather, circumstance and department needs. This may include assisting in customer service, the rental shop and maintenance crew. This position requires good physical dexterity, keen hearing, and physical balance. Keen eyesight, physical stamina and the ability to lift a minimum of 50lb is necessary.
The Mountain Operations Assistant Manager must assist all supervisors and their departments in maintaining the basic knowledge, inspections and necessary protocols as needed. This position requires that you maintain the highest levels of professionalism at all times with customers and staff. Applicants must be able to attend weekly meetings with other departments, owners and coordinating staff. A well maintained and organized work space is required. Must be able to communicate both orally and written, as needed. General computer knowledge and fluency in Google and/ Microsoft office would be optimal.

Maintenance Department Positions
Janitorial Staff
Our janitorial staff is responsible for the cleanliness of our lodge. We are looking for a reliable individual and must be able to lift at least 50lbs and have both weekend and evening availability. Hours include Monday - Friday 5-9pm daily. Must be at least 18yrs old.
Maintenance Mechanic
Repairs and maintains all equipment, shop organization and attends to general property upkeep. Maintenance and repairs vary seasonally, and is necessary year-round for equipment and facilities. It is the responsibility of the on-site mechanic to complete all routine repairs and preventative maintenance that does not require a specialized technician. This may include (but is not limited to) all vehicles, equipment and various building systems. Applicant must be flexible and have the availability to be on-call for emergencies with a willingness to work fluctuating hours with the changing seasons. Must have 5 years previous work experience or 2 years past work experience with a degree. Snowmaking and mountain grooming equipment knowledge preferred.
Lift Attendant (16+) & Lift Operators (18+)
Hours available on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat., & Sun. and Holidays.
As a lift operator or attendant you are the first line of defense in terms of keeping our staff and guests safe. It is your job to maintain a safe loading and unloading environment, watch for dangerous situations and quickly react when necessary. We will train all applicants whether new or returning.
Duties and Requirements:

Instruct guests in how to load a lift if necessary.

Assist those who require help in loading and unloading.

Stay alert and responsive to any dangers that may arise for our guests and staff.

Must be able to withstand being outdoors for hours in any weather.

Must be able to shovel snow and clear loading and landing areas.

Will maintain safe loading and landing areas.

Will assist lift maintenance crew in clearing lifts of snow/ice, etc.

Will communicate directly with lift maintenance on any issues that arise.

Will check guest's tickets to make sure they are valid.
Snowsports School
Ski/Snowboard Instructor
Part time hours on Wed, Thurs, Friday, Sat., & Sun. and Holidays. Our instructors' primary task is to foster and develop a love of snow-sports in students of all ages and backgrounds. Instructors will work with students in groups or a one-on-one basis, coaching them through the beginner progression, up through more advanced techniques depending on prior experience. Instructors must be able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level. At Maple we take pride in our the quality of our lesson program and our excellent customer experience. To maintain the highest of teaching standards, we will provide you with extensive paid job training to ensure your success as an instructor. You WILL learn to become a better teacher and a better skier or rider through your job with Maple. Snowsports Department Secretary
In need of a part-time seasonal snowsports department secretary to assist the ski school director in managing schedules, fielding phone calls, making appointments and interacting with guests. Full-time position through ski season. Saturdays and Sundays 8:30-3:30 and 3 weekday days TBD.
Duties and Requirements:

Will answer phones, take messages, answer questions when able, and generally assist our clients on the telephone and in person.

Will make appointments and schedule lessons, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Will work with staff to ensure our customers have the best experience possible.

Prefer someone who has skied or snowboarded before or has basic industry knowledge and terminology.

Will assist Snow School Director with all other related tasks.
